Decide whether you want users to leave a specific comment (meaning other comments will not be recognized), or whether to exclude certain words (meaning they will also not trigger the \u201cAuto Reply\u201d message). You can actually leave the last two fields blank so that any comment under the post can trigger the auto-reply message.<br \/>\n<em>Please note that the comment growth tool applies to published posts on FB pages, ongoing FB Live posts, scheduled posts, and boosted posts,<strong>but for<\/strong><strong>ads created in the Ads Manager<\/strong>posts,<strong>it may not<\/strong><strong>work properly (for more details, please read the \u201cPost Selector\u201d section below, paragraphs 3 and 4).<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-align=\"left\" data-generated-at=\"15154125046310.92488051635246\" data-id=\"block-ember2557\" data-identifyelement=\"460\"><strong><em>Note:<\/em><\/strong><em>&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n<ul data-generated-at=\"15154125046310.23302422108965826\" data-id=\"block-ember2568\" data-identifyelement=\"464\">\n<li><em>The tool can be used for both new and old posts, but the widget cannot recognize existing comments in the comments section of old posts.&nbsp;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The widget does not apply to posts in forums or profiles on FB.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>If you have the \u201cAll Posts\u201d comment growth tool and there is one connected to a specific post, please note that the specific post comment growth tool will take precedence over \u201cAll Posts\u201d and is the only one to trigger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-identifyelement=\"470\"><strong>Release Selector<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"473\">Let's talk about some posts that can connect to the widget.<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"474\">To select posts, click the \u201cSelect Posts\u201d button in the \u201cSettings\u201d tab of the Growth Tool - you will see 4 tabs where you can choose posts:<\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"475\">1. Published Posts.<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"477\">\u201cThe \u201dPublished Posts\u201c tab includes all posts on your business page - they can be text, photo, video, or live video type posts. Please remember that photos and videos should be uploaded from the device to the post - if items from the \u201dPhotos\u201c or \u201dVideos\u201c section of the fan page are added to the post, the \u201dComments\" widget may not function properly. Only post entities are supported to collect comments and ultimately send private automated replies to users.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"478\">ManyChat does not support event, offer, and job type posts, as well as any reposts from other pages.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"479\">Therefore, the safest way to connect the comments widget to a post on the fan page is to select it from the \u201cPublished Posts\u201d tab.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"480\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-dib aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/cdn.freshdesk.com\/data\/helpdesk\/attachments\/production\/36026034848\/original\/O3i-2osKeaXvVa7cPNvNk04QFLMposc9tQ.png?1547461303\" width=\"536\" height=\"461\"><\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"482\">2. Scheduled Posts.<\/h2>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"484\">ManyChat also supports Facebook's scheduled posts - you can select one from the \u201cScheduled Posts\u201d tab, and the widget will start collecting comments and sending automated reply messages to users once the post is published.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"485\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-dib aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/cdn.freshdesk.com\/data\/helpdesk\/attachments\/production\/36026034915\/original\/pwk9barB14LKuaMzo1Je0dE1WQUBQR-JKA.png?1547461358\" width=\"478\" height=\"396\"><\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"487\">3. Promoted Posts.<\/h2>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"489\">\u201cThe \u201dPromoted Posts\" tab includes ad posts, dark posts, boosted posts, and any other posts that can be promoted on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"490\">Ad posts created in Facebook Ads Manager can be found in this tab. We recommend selecting ad posts from this list to avoid issues with invalid post IDs.<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"491\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-dib aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/cdn.freshdesk.com\/data\/helpdesk\/attachments\/production\/36026034961\/original\/oOQ_U8b8OGFFPYYAl3e5pHQgCfeZp-knTA.png?1547461383\" width=\"506\" height=\"432\"><\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"493\">4. Custom<\/h2>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"495\">\u201cThe \u201dCustom\" tab allows you to find and associate a post by entering the URL or ID of the Facebook post. However, we do not recommend connecting posts to the widget this way (especially ad posts created in Ads Manager) - ManyChat is not responsible for any errors or issues arising from this method of selecting posts.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"496\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-dib aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/cdn.freshdesk.com\/data\/helpdesk\/attachments\/production\/36026035005\/original\/96Z4_B4lQR-z7lg_oSdecZNjLWDdhu8jng.png?1547461405\"><\/p>\n<h2 dir=\"ltr\" data-identifyelement=\"500\">5. All Posts<\/h2>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"502\">Now, we have created a possibility to trigger a single \u201cGrowth Tool\u201d for all your posts. You just need to select \u201cAll Posts\u201d from the list, after which any comments will trigger a response.<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"503\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fr-fil fr-dib aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/cdn.freshdesk.com\/data\/helpdesk\/attachments\/production\/36050088994\/original\/Be0Y3bwtN6Ebr3eSNPfrZAk8G4OT2B87FA.png?1572969438\" data-id=\"36050088994\">Please note:<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"505\">1. If you have a \u201cComment Growth\u201d tool for a specific post, it will trigger, but the \u201cAll Posts\u201d tool will not.<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"506\">2. If there are two \u201cComment Growth Tools for All Posts\u201d on a page, the CGT at the top of the list will trigger.<\/p>\n<p data-identifyelement=\"507\">3. Therefore, even if the commenter types something instead of clicking the button on the widget's \u201cAuto Response\u201d message, you can still gain a new subscriber. This feature essentially acts as a CGT-specific default reply. You can set one of three different options to respond to the subscriber's keyboard input:<\/p>\n<ul data-identifyelement=\"548\">\n<li>You can choose not to send an \u201cOpt-in\u201d message at all.<em>(Note that the absence of some form of confirmation message may confuse some users).<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-generated-at=\"15154125046340.19319086714640554\" data-id=\"block-ember2609\" data-identifyelement=\"551\">\n<li>You can choose to send the \u201cOpt-in\u201d message to everyone, regardless of whether the \u201ckeyword\u201d in the user's response has the \u201cSend to all responders\u201d option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul data-generated-at=\"15154125046350.943779736253441\" data-id=\"block-ember2614\" data-identifyelement=\"553\">\n<li>Alternatively, you can also send the \u201cOpt-in\u201d message only to users who replied to the auto reply message with keywords set in the special field below the options. Please remove the restrictions for the tool to work as intended.<\/li>\n<li>Please remember that due to technical limitations, ManyChat cannot fully track 100% of new subscribers joining through Facebook comments. All unmatched users will become subscribers but will not receive the opt-in message.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cThe \u201dFacebook Comments\u201c widget is only applicable to comments left under original posts on \u201dfan pages\" - unfortunately, shared posts are not supported at this time.
