1. If you need to transfer content, cloning the entire bot and Flow Sharing is a useful feature. However, suppose you want to share the entire bot with customers or a friendly bot builder community and include all the content you own\u2014tags, custom user fields, and actions. Now, you can do this using templates!<\/span><\/p>\n

2. The template feature is the easiest way to share ideas and techniques with students and the community. They help you manage, back up, and share successful experiences with other pages. Additionally, templates allow you to share pre-built solutions while managing client pages.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. In this article, we will guide you through the entire installation process.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. How to create a template<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Click on the icon on the left sidebar to enter this section. You will find a list of predefined templates for different business areas. Once you create your own templates, they will immediately appear in the \u201c<\/span>template<\/span><\/strong>6. My Account\u201c <\/span>7. section:\u201d<\/span><\/strong>8. If you do not have any templates, you can click the \u201c<\/span><\/p>\n

Cool, let's get into the first step\u2014select the source page on which the template is based.template<\/strong>14. Great, now start selecting elements for the template content. Create a template to share your entire bot, individual marketing campaigns (e.g., growth tools + flows + sequences), or share your fancy collection of 600 keywords. Your template can be any one or larger templates.<\/span><\/p>\n

15. Pro and Free Templates <\/span><\/p>\n

16. If any Pro elements are added or exceed the \u201cfree\u201d limit of other elements, the template will become PRO. It can only be installed on pages with a Pro subscription. After adding some elements to the template, the system will automatically display the subscription type.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

17. Adding elements to the template will also add all connected elements.<\/span><\/p>\n

18. For example, when you select a flow that includes a \u201cstart another flow\u201d step and has another flow attached, that flow will automatically be added to the template. Such flows are inactive\u2014you can exclude them by deactivating or changing the parent element.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

When creating a template, you can choose where to include custom fields in the template. It's up to you whether it's in the installed template itself or in the \u201cCustom Fields\u201d section of the page!<\/span>

These elements are marked in red. Typically, this means you need to republish them to make them valid. If your process is imported from another page, you may sometimes need to re-upload media content.<\/span><\/p>\n

You will be redirected to a success page via the template installation link. Use \u201c <\/span>Permalink\u201d<\/span><\/strong>The option can have a permalink, or<\/span>12. Store visitors as subscribers\u201c<\/span><\/strong>a one-time link\u201d shared only with one page (this link becomes invalid after the first installation and can be generated by the template owner). You can manage the link type on the template page.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note that if you change the link type to protected, the permalink will remain invalid until you switch it back.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

You can also<\/span>edit template preferences<\/span><\/strong>, which can be accessed later from the \u201cTemplates\u201d section. Here you can add a custom description and insert installation guide links. In case you leave it blank, your users will see predefined instructions and guides. If you plan to share this template with someone, it's best to provide a detailed description of its composition.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to edit a template<\/span><\/p>\n

Awesome! Now that your template is enabled, you can access it from the \u201cTemplates\u201d section. Select a template and then click the \u201c <\/span>Edit Template\u201d<\/span><\/strong>button in the upper right corner. This allows you to add more content, enable\/disable public access links, and completely delete the template. <\/span><\/p>\n
