On February 20, 2018, the following changes to the Facebook checkbox plugin took effect.

We track all changes made by Facebook and have also launched an update to the checkbox plugin in ManyChat:
- The “Subscribe Sequence” option has been removed from the “Widget Selection Join Action” (still applicable to buttons with the “Send to Messenger” option).
- All action blocks connected to the first step of the “Select Join” message no longer work. This means you cannot use “Action Steps” before users interact with your bot.
- For new subscribers and existing subscribers, the Widget's “Select Join Message” (first step) will not appear in Live Chat (all other replies and interactions with the bot will still be displayed in Live Chat as usual).
With the introduction of this new policy, new “Unknown Subscribers” are no longer an issue! Users who do not interact with your join message will not be added to your audience list as roaming subscribers.
