Problem: You need to connect more pages to ManyChat, but when you click “Connect,” you don't see other pages in the selection list? This means that when you first connected your Facebook account to ManyChat, you did not select all the pages you wanted to manage on Facebook, but only a portion of them.
To connect a new page to ManyChat, you must be an admin of those pages on Facebook (Note: the “Editor” role on FB is not sufficient for this) - just click the button below:
Then, after creating your account, click “Connect” in the “Dashboard” section here:
If you do not see all the pages, please follow these steps:
1. Click the link:https : //www.facebook.com/settings?tab= business_tools to access your Facebook Business Integration list.
2. Under the ManyChat app, click “View and Edit” to see its settings.
3. Scroll down a bit to find the “Show a list of the Pages you manage” permission. Once activated, it should look like this:
Here, you can check the checkbox on each page that you need to be discovered in your ManyChat account. If you do not see such a list of pages, rest assured that this permission will apply to all your pages.
4. In addition to this permission, we also recommend activating the “Manage Pages” permission, as shown below:
After saving the settings, return to ManyChat immediately and try reconnecting the pages.
These permissions together can allow ManyChat to discover all your pages, so you can always use the “Add New Page” option in ManyChat to select the pages you want to connect.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, please try the following:
- Log out of ManyChat and then log back in.
- You may be immediately redirected to the Facebook Business Integration settings and asked to grant the missing permissions. In this case, please continue to step 5. If nothing happens, don't worry, then click onpagethe button “ Add New Page ” button. Then click the “Connect (or Join)” button on the page you need to connect.
- At some point in performing step 2, you may receive a warning message about missing permissions, which includes a link that takes you to the Facebook Business Integration settings.
- In the Facebook business integration settings of the ManyChat App, you should see the following information:
The exact permission set may look different, but make sure it includes “Manage your pages” and “Manage your business”!
Click “Confirm” to grant all permissions. You should be redirected back to ManyChat, and there should be no further issues with connecting the page.
If the above steps do not help, check if two-factor authentication has been set up for pages not displayed in the list. If so, make sure to followHerethe instructionsfor your Facebook profileto set up two-step verification. When both your profile and the specific page have two-factor authentication enabled, that page should start appearing in the list.
