When you go to the “Growth Tools” tab in your ManyChat account, you will see the section on the right containing statistics for all the growth tools created on the page:

While the content regarding the “Conversions” column should be clear, you may wonder what these other statistics mean for each growth tool, as not all statistics work in the same way. We want to provide explanations in this article.
Overlays/Embedded Widgets, Landing Pages, Checkboxes:
“Impressions” - This is how many users have seen that specific widget;
“Opt-ins” - This is how many users clicked the “Send to Messenger” button (forCheckbox, it is any button where the widget code is installed);
“Opened” - This is how many users saw your growth tool's “Opt-in Message” (compared to the number in the “Opt-ins” column);
“Clicked” - This is the number of buttons clicked by any user in the “Opt-in” message (compared to the number in the “Opt-ins” column).
Messenger Reference URL:
" Impressions” - This widget cannot be tracked - you will see “-” in this column as well as in the “Conversions” section;
“Opt-ins” - How many users opted in after clicking the link;
“Opened” - This is how many users opened the “Opt-in” message after clicking the link (new users must also click the “Get Started” button first to receive the “Opt-in” message);
“Clicked” - This is how many users clicked any button in the widget's “Opt-in” message.
Facebook Ads JSON:
So far, unfortunately, ManyChat cannot track JSON statistics. You can see the disclaimer under “?”. Log in to the “Clicked” section of the JSON statistics. It says:“Due to platform limitations, we absolutely cannot track the impressions of growth tools and the statistics of messages for opting in. The first time we can track a user is when he/she clicks the button in the opt-in message.”
Facebook comments:
“Impressions” - The number of users who left comments in the comments section of posts related to the widget on the fan page;
“Opt-ins” - The number of users who replied to the auto-response through the widget;
“Opened” - This is how many users saw your growth tool's “Opt-in Message” (compared to the number in the “Opt-ins” column);
“Clicked” - This is the number of buttons clicked by any user in the “Opt-in” message (compared to the number in the “Opt-ins” column).
Facebook Messenger code:
“Impressions” - Tracking cannot be done for this widget - you will see this in this column as well as in the “Conversions” section“-”;
“Opt-ins” - The number of users who chose to opt in after scanning the code;
“Opened” - The number of users who opened the opt-in message after scanning the code;
“Clicked” - This is how many users clicked any button in the widget's “Opt-in” message.
Customer chat:
“Impressions” - The number of users who saw the greeting message of this specific widget on your website;
“Opt-ins” - The number of users who clicked the “Chat” button on the widget to start a conversation;
“Opened” - The number of users who saw the opt-in message from this widget;
“Clicked” - This is the number of buttons clicked by any user in the “Opt-in” message (compared to the number in the “Opt-ins” column).
