ManyChat is committed to providing a safe, conversational, and magical experience for everyone interacting with our Messenger. Compliance with GDPR is not only the best choice for all our business; it is also the right thing to do. Please check out our blog post for more information about GDPR:https ://blog.manychat.com/gdpr-manychat-updates/
Since your subscribers must be able to easily send you requests to download, change, or even completely delete all their personal data from your ManyChat account, we have developed a set of tools to help you comply with this important data privacy law.
Go to “Audience” and search for subscribers by their name. Use the context menu (three dots in the upper right corner) to open the dropdown menu as shown below. You will see 3
options for managing their data:Unsubscribe,Download user datawithDelete user data)。

Unsubscribe #
Allows you to unsubscribe specific users without deleting their personal information - you will be able to see everything, including tags and custom user field values.

Download user profile #
If any of your subscribers request a copy of their data, you can quickly and easily send the data to them in a format that fully complies with GDPR laws. You will receive a .json formatted file containing all the information.

Delete user data #
If you receive a request from a ManyChat subscriber (or auditor) to delete any specific subscriber's PII from the system, you can now manually delete their record completely from your ManyChat account without affecting your roaming statistics.
The deleted data may include Facebook profile information, any custom fields, tags, email addresses, phone numbers, and even LiveChat discussions conducted with your Facebook page Messenger.
Please remember that the complete Messenger chat history will still be stored by Facebook in the “Page Inbox” as well as in the subscriber's Messenger. Our tools only cover ManyChat (not the Facebook page itself), so you will need to take any further actions yourself in the Page Inbox or the subscriber's Messenger.
You cannot undo this action, so you must enter a verification word to completely delete it.

After the data is deleted, the user will show as “Deleted” with a status of “Unknown.” All their information will be cleared.
