Basic Builder This is a window with tools that helps you edit and enhance messages. To open it, simply click the “Edit” button in the growth tools:
Or the “Edit Flow” button in the welcome message:
To edit a broadcast, just click its name to open the broadcast (or click “+ New Broadcast” to create a new one):
This is an example of what it looks like when opening a broadcast for editing:
- Starting Step - This is the starting point of any message flow.
- Additional Steps - All messages connected to each other by buttons.
- Unattached Steps -All messages that are not connected to any buttons.
- Element Settings Window - You can change the name and settings of the element here. Similarly, you can attach additional actions to the element using the “+ New Action” button.
- BlocksList– This list contains all the blocks you can insert into messages.
- Attention Icon - Indicates that the current block requires additional customization (hover over it with the cursor to see what needs to be done).
- Preview Area - Displays the message from the recipient's side.
After editing the message flow, click the “Publish” button to apply all changes:
*Please note*The following block types are not available in the Basic Builder and can only be found in the Flow Builder:
- " Starting Another Flow ”- This block allows you to trigger another flow internally.
- " Conditions ”- This block enables you to create basic logic within the flow and separate the flow based on user data.
- " Randomizer ”- This block allows you to set up A/B split steps within the Flow.
- " 4. Smart Delay ”- This block enables you to create new types of delays and add them to the flow.
- “Comment” - This block allows you to create comments in the ManyChat window without affecting the flow's operation.
