ManyChat allows you to create coupon campaigns that automatically sync to your Shopify store without leaving ManyChat.
Offering discounts can be a powerful marketing strategy for your Shopify store, attracting and motivating your subscribers to take action. You can create different campaigns, such as Christmas promotions, Black Friday promotions, welcome series, abandoned cart, etc. You will see that your subscribers will love it!
Unique and static coupons
As part of the coupon campaign, you can send coupons to your subscribers. There are two types of coupons: unique and static.
Unique coupons are personalized for each subscriber. Therefore, each subscriber will receive a unique personal code. We will generate a random code for everyone, but you can also specify a prefix to be used before each code by adding it. You can even use the subscriber's first and last name or any other CUF in the “prefix” for a more personalized feel.
The static coupon is the same for every user. You can also specify it.
Both types of coupons are one-time use only. Therefore, each subscriber will receive a code that can only be used once.
How to add a coupon campaign to your flow
You can implement the Coupon Campaign through any of the following channels: Facebook Messenger, SMS, and Email. Adding a coupon campaign to your flow takes just a few minutes.
You can add a coupon campaign to any text element. First, click on the element you want to edit, then click the % icon below the text box editor. Here, click on the coupon campaign you want to add or create a new coupon campaign.

You can also provide discount codes for products in abandoned carts of Shopify customers. Simply create an “Abandoned Cart Reminder” flow, select the “Abandoned Cart Trigger,” connect it to the “Send Message” node, and then add the “Cart” block to redirect subscribers to the “Abandoned Cart” or “Checkout Steps,” depending on where they left the store.

If you add the “Cart” block, an “Open Shopify Store” button will be automatically created. Click this button, and you will see a pop-up window. Here, you can specify the Shopify store page that your subscribers will go to when they click this button. You can also add the coupon campaign by enabling the corresponding toggle. You can choose from existing coupons created in “Settings” or create a new coupon.

In addition to adding coupons in Messenger and Email nodes, you can also offer discounts in SMS. To do this, simply create a new SMS node, click the “Link to Another Step” button, and then select the “Open Shopify Store” button. The settings for this button are the same as those in the Messenger or Email nodes.
Don't forget to use one of our growth tools (such asOverlay Modal)to capture subscribers so that the “Abandoned Cart Reminder” can work.

If you decide to create a new coupon campaign, first name the campaign so that it can be used in the future. Note that this is not the coupon that subscribers will receive. You can also choose the type of coupon here.

Now it's time to create unique coupons for the campaign. Choose the type of discount and the value you want to use. You can also select the expiration time for the coupon (counting down from the moment you send the coupon to the subscriber). We will generate a random code for everyone, but you can specify a prefix to be used before each code. Using system fields and CUF can enhance the personal touch. After that, just click to create the campaign. Now, we are sending information to Shopify to sync your campaign.

If you choose static coupons, you can specify the coupon code that each subscriber will receive.
