Removing a template from the Bot is very simple! Let's take a closer look.
Check Installed Templates #
Navigate to “Settings” -> “Installed Templates” to see a list of all installed templates. All templates have a “ Name”and “ Installer” parameter. The second shows the page where the administrator installed a specific template.
Delete Template #
Suppose I want to delete the “ Coffee Shop Loyalty Program” template,because I have already installed theManyChat Restaurant Free template,and I prefer it.
Click on the “ Coffee Shop Loyalty Program” template and openit. In the upper right corner, you will see three dots. Clicking it will open a context menu. Here you can see a red trash can and an “Uninstall” label. This is what you need to press.
Make sure to check this pop-up:
As you can see, this action will deleteall main bot content:
- flow
- sequences
- keywords
- growth tools, and folders.
Additionally, all your processes related to the template will not work properly, and you will need to redesign them.
This is irreversible! Therefore, please make sure you really want to delete the template.
You can choose to save or delete other template content:Custom user fields and tagsThis means that all user data you have collected will also be deleted. If necessary, make sure to download the CSV file with CUF!
If you choose to delete the main menu, this elementwill be completely reset, which means you will need to design a new main menu from scratch.
After selecting the option that suits you, just clickDelete , and the template will disappear from the list.
